Eminem

When talking about the most influential rappers of all time, Eminem quickly comes to mind. at first thought, songs, like mockingbird, love the Way you lie, and others come to mind. when looking back at his old music, however, there is a big difference. And with the marshal mather’s LP, a lot of things were said that would never be excepted today.

Eminem has had many recent disputes surrounding lyrics in songs such as love the Way you lie with Rihanna. Lyrics provoking murder and sexual assault are very common place in mathers old music, however, they are often looked past. Despite some of the fowl lyrics, however, some of the lyrics that he uses and unheard of anywhere else and point of a more realistic feeling music. A lot of music feels like this perfect life and fake story but when em tells a story it feels like it’s hitting home with many a little more with some of his lyrics regarding a rough childhood and rocky relationships and sometimes when he expresses how he actually feels about it (like tying up his girlfriend in a burning house) many are quite repelled.

Despite cancel culture today, his Fanbase still stays prominent with many fans present since his beginnings with Dr. Dre in the 90s. Even though he recieves a lot of negativity from many enraged, young adults and teens in our age, he is undisputed one of the best rappers to ever do it. His rhymes and lyrics are of a manner that is quite possibly one of a kind. Over the years, he has made many hits and given a lot of controversy through his lyrics. but if one thing is for certain, even through a predominantly, black genre, he’s doing it better than the rest being white.
